The wd BACKUP AND FILETRANSFER App was developed to automate the backup and transfer of data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The app allows exporting databases to Azure Blob Storage, moving files to file shares, and logging the status of these processes.
Azure Storage is a cloud-based object storage service from Microsoft that stores large amounts of unstructured data such as text or binary data. In this case, it is used to temporarily store .bacpac files, which will be explained further below.
